Cautions about Designed Aluminum Powder Coating of Aluminium

Except for common powder coating, there is a more creative type called designed aluminum powder coating. Featured by attractive look, stereo sense and perfect decorative effect, this type of coating is matched with strict working processes.

　　There are several cautions which workers have to follow in process of aluminum powder coating. First, the input air pressure should be controlled between 0.5 and 1.5kg/cm2. Strong air pressure would cause low imagine definition or pocking marks. Static electrical pressure should be around 65kv. Too high electrical pressure would lead to rebound of powder attached to the surface of aluminium profiles. Second, coating layers should not be too thin. If a layer is thinner than 70μm, the design would not be clear or big enough. Third, workers must pay attention to temperature and time during powder coating processes. Insufficient temperature or time may result failure of powder to form designed images and incomplete solidification of the powder. Besides, it’s not recommended to use recycled powder for designed coating of aluminium profiles because it will make designs look smaller.

　　In a word, in the process of designed aluminum powder coating of aluminium profiles, workers should keep air pressure, static electrical pressure, temperature and time periods under reasonable control.
